The CDC reports that 1.7 million people suffer from a traumatic brain injury every year. Surveys and statistics continue to look at athletes and service men and women as the most vulnerable. But everyday accidents such as falling off a bike or a car accident, also contributes to many brain injuries. This month, the Brain Injury Association of America wants to raise awareness by educating the public on where and how to receive help.
