Alzheimer’s affects millions of individuals and families across the world. November, designated as Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, in 1983 by President Ronald Reagan. Research continues, trying to find best ways to slow, prevent or reverse Alzheimer’s disease. Memory loss, disrupts daily life and one of the major symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia. Alzheimer’s, a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory. To find ways to support a family of someone diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or your local office for the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, contact 2-1-1.
